Make your social media pages private
We will do our best to protect you and your story. But you can help us by making your social media profiles private for a short time while your story is published. This will limit unwanted contact.

Why do this?
We can help you handle anyone who gets in touch with you before or after your story is published. But in very rare instances, you might get some unwanted attention online. The best way to stop this, is just make your profile private for a few days.
In internet slang, a troll is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the internet for fun. Their comments can be upsetting. But rest assured, these trolls write negative comments on the most positive stories, just for ‘fun’. They are best ignored. If you are feeling down, don’t read the comments under stories online.
