Erin Wade got in touch with us as she wanted to share her story of how pro-anorexic sites nearly killed her. Erin was just 13 when she went online for advice on losing weight, and she quickly found herself sucked into the world of pro-ana sites, where young girls share weight loss tips and post photos of themselves looking shockingly thin to inspire others.
After a lengthy battle, Erin is now a healthy weight and feels strong enough to share her story, which appeared in Top of the Pops magazine. Erin is now an ambassador for the eating disorder charity Beat.
