We love this picture of Talk to the Press features writer Emily Cope with our client Lucy Banks, her mum Tina, and This Morning’s Ruth and Eamonn.
Lucy wanted to go onto the ITV This Morning sofa to share her story and encourage other victims of sexual abuse to come forward. She was very nervous, but found it an enjoyable experience. And since appearing on the show, she has had three victims of sexual abuse contact her to say they are going to speak to the police.
Although she was nervous at first, Lucy says the experience was one of the highlights of selling their story to the press and she is delighted to have helped other victims speak out.
